Now 25, AJ began singing at the young age of 3, and began writing poetry and songs & even started recording songs at age 11. Throughout his life, such artists as Michael Jackson, Usher, Boyz II Men, Jodeci, NeYo, Jagged Edge, 112 and many others influenced him to become the multi-talented musician he is today. AJ has honed a skill unlike any performer today with his musical abilities beginning first with his love of writing. Teaming with a Compton producer, by the name of Jay Anthony, AJ created a soothing and soulful R&B EP entitled "IntimateConfessions" available on iTunes now. His musical base being R&B, although AJ has also embraced genres from pop to country to hip-hop to k pop, creating a diverse range for himself as a songwriter. In Los Angeles, AJ forged relationships with others in his field to broaden his musical experience, such as his production group, Countdown Music Productions, with his business partner, engineer & producer, Colin Hartel.. AJ has dedicated his time to writing for other artists also, landing his first placement with an overseas artist by the name of "AJ" and The Game. As a performer, however, his vocal expertise is the most clear-cut, conveying a soothing, but powerful, voice, adored by his fans that can't get enough of his sound. A bright future lays on the horizon for AJ Wils, as he continues to learn as a gifted musician and songwriter, working with Grammy nominated producers to help create sounds for major and aspiring artists of the 2015 line up.
