(STS) was originally formed in 2007 by Brandon McCalley and Cornell Veasey after their first band “Mermaid Princes” parted ways.The result was a 2 piece drum/bass Combo jokingly named “Saw the Seahorse“. After a few months of jamming in Brandon’s basement, Aaron Rowland joined up to give the band much needed vocals and a high end. In the years, STS has gone from a post punk outfit to a dancey prog/pop trifecta with catchy vocals, intelligently layered tap style guitar, groove centered yet melodic bass lines, and a mad scientist weaving every rhythm together with intricate driving drum beats. Saw the Seahorse is just getting started and looking forward to a great year!
