Best-known as one-third of schlager pop trio De Romeo's, Flemish singer/actor Davy Gilles (Aarschot, 1976) first worked with his wife, Dutch actress Sasha Rosen (Amsterdam, 1978) in a stage production of the hit musical Mamma Mia.
But in 2011, they teamed up in the recording studio for the first time as Sasha & Davy, scoring a hit with their debut album, Onafscheidelijk, and its title track a year later. ~ Jon O'Brien
