Inspired by Radiohead and Coldplay, Ruidoblanco are a Spanish quintet whose indievpop sound is built on the boy-girl harmonies of vocalists Salva and Cris.
The pair teamed up with guitarist Dani, bassist Chano, and drummer Nacho (later replaced by Cristian) in Barcelona in 2004, and spent the next seven years building up a reputation as one of the city's best unsigned bands. After landing a deal with WEA Spain, they released their debut EP, Midiendo el Tiempo con Canciones, and recorded their debut album of the same name with producer Suso Saiz (los Planetas, Duncan Dhu). Released in 2011, it featured the single "Ultima Version de Ti" and a collaboration with rock en español vocalist Ivan Ferreiro. ~ Jon O'Brien
