Rose Land is a one-man band formed in 2005.
Eric Apollinari, based in the french Alps, composes and plays all the instrumental parts, except occasionnally for some split-projects. His music can be described as a dark ambient, neoclassical... a personal music made of piano parts, strings, whispers... Rose Land creates intimate, melancholic, dreamy atmospheres, for the listener to escape towards his own memories and dreamland.

After a confidential first self production, "Rose Land" in 2005, the next self released album "Maladivine" caught some attention from different reviewers such as Mick Mercer (in his famous LiveJournal), Brown Jenkin (Sentinels of Fire), Black Tom (Obsküre magazine), Yannick Blay (Elegy), Arno Mothra (Twice) and more. So some french, italian or spanish labels got interested in producing a new album. Eventually the french label Frozen Wing Records co-produced the impressive album "Au Mont des Soupirs" in the end of 2010-early 2011, that was also welcomed by some webzines in Europe and further. The album has been ranked 30th best album of the year for Mick Mercer in his well-known webzine. He's been issued and available in quite a few countries (Germany, Spain, Austria, Russia, Poland...), thanks to websites dedicated to dark ambient, neoclassical, darkwave music.

Rose Land also appeared in a french compilation, "D'Eux" from the Fatal Object label, and into another compilation of french artists offered with the book "Paraphrénie du Ventre Vide" from the inspired writer Arno Mothra, also contributor of the french webzine Twice.

Eric Apollinari his keeping composing since then, and keeps sharing his old and recent tracks in his myspace, youtube or facebook official pages, without commercial aims.

The adventure continues for Rose Land...

Some reviews extracts :

From Heathen Harvest american website:

"Imagine a vast world...sweeping vistas, misty mountains, and the view through a lens of perfected mind's eye. The sun greets the clouds of days long past, blending the darkness and light as one entity. True time has no hold here, for all is timeless. Close your eyes and see the days, the months, the years. See them in the eye of the mountains, see them in all their ageless allure. Now, put a soundtrack to your visions. Better yet, let Rose Land do it. It has been a long time since an album has affected me as such. I simply closed my eyes and tried to take all the beauty in at once. I couldn't"

From Mick Mercer's Live Journal:

"Rose Land's melancholic music is just sensitive beauty. Modest magnificence !"

From the german website Naturmacht :

"Dreamy and melancholic music from another world. Rose Land makes us explore wonderful landscapes created of piano parts, synths, strings and whispers.

A journey beyond the eternal horizon..."
