Rootless was founded by Tom and some former members back in Summer 2002. After several line up changes the band got reinvented in style and refounded in 2006.

In February 2008 the first official EP "Welcome To The Pit" was released. With this EP Rootless also was finally able to establish their self-created genre VIENNA MOSHCORE once and for all.

Not even 8 months later Rootless released their second EP "Hated Since Day One", which takes the VMC-Style one step further. To prove that Rootless is about music and not about money, the band provided the whole EP as a free download for people around the world, which led to a huge success on myspace.

In July 2010 Rootless recorded their first full length album “Dominate the Chaos”. Together with their new producer, the guys from Rootless recorded their by far most epic CD, including 14 tracks of pure emotion and hard-edged brutality.

In November 2010 Rootless was signed by ULTIMHATE RECORDS (Belgium) and released their first LP "Dominate the Chaos" worldwide on february 25th 2011.

In 2013 Rootless decided to develop their style once again and started the production of a new EP. Completely produced by their singer, tHC, this EP promises to be the most uncompromising record ever released by Rootless.
