Roger Jaeger’s reputation precedes him.
While it’s easy to be captivated by this Oklahoma native’s tasty originals that would make any food critic salivate, it’s the combination of what you hear, and who Roger is as a person, that makes him a must-see.

For the year of 2005, Roger moved to India, where he learned to make the perfect cup of chai but more importantly, it was that same year when after being inspired by a track on Jeff Buckley's “Grace,” he met and fell in love with playing the sitar. Roger developed a strong devotion and passion for India, its people, and its culture. While there, all too suddenly, he became seriously ill with ulcerative colitis. After spending some days in the hospital in New Delhi, and then continuing the healing process for some years in his hometown, Roger developed a renewed sense of purpose, and his music took on a whole new meaning.

His debut release “Sunrise” (2004) and his sophomore record “Beacon” (2013), both share a recurring theme of light. A representation of both hope and revelation, Roger’s music is creative, inspiring and thought-provoking. With musical influences that range from Jars of Clay, One Republic, Jonny Lang, Foo Fighters and Sting, his songs strike a perfect balance between message and art. With the addition of the sitar, and the stories behind the instrument, an unexpected edge of cultural character was born, and beautifully paired to his guitar driven pop sound.

Roger shares his music world-wide, (Follow him on www.RogerJaegerMusic.com, FB, Twitter, etc. leave links here), while also helping teach young songwriters and instrumentalists how to hone their craft. His latest single, “Rescue,” (Available online February 3rd, 2015) owns a strong, sophisticated, honest message of self-awareness. Extremely relatable, and total ear candy for all the sing-along-ers!

So between his unique bond with such a foreign culture, the messages through which he expresses via his music, and a very well respected musician, Roger Jaeger continues to bring an intriguing tone and a warm presence to every room he plays, and every fan he greets.
