Obtained studies in classical piano as a child for 4 years, leaving the conservatory in 1991 by growing interest in electronic music, jazz and other mysteries of sound and its relationship to the human ear.

Since then dedicated to the bass as an autodidact, having developed an interest in instant composition and free improvisation music from 2003 through concerts held at the Centro Cultural São Paulo.

Member and co-founder of Collective JZSMTK, active since 2005, group that unites the free improvisation and contemporary sound languages, from free-jazz to microtonalism, seeking new interaction sound/ artist / audience.

Participated in the 2010 and 2011 FIIL (Abaetetuba International Festival of Free Improvisation), held in CCSP. Events that enabled the formation of a collective of artists focused on spreading and expand the space for improvised music, the current SPIMPRO (Free Improvisation Circuit of São Paulo), which actively participates.

In 2012 heads to Europe, attending the MIA Festival (Portugal) and lasts for 8 months performing in various cultural spaces and developing partnerships with artists from Portugal, Spain, England, Austria, Russia, Uruguay and Japan.

Back to Brazil in 2013, is dedicated to the production of the project ReMoTeImPLoV - PARAGON FOR CHANCE.

The album, the first designed and produced by the artist, unites partners from 8 countries in innovative proposal, where improvised solo pieces from each musician are overlapped by Gobbet, who also participates as a soloist.

The first track on the disc, to be released in Brazil and Europe from August to September 2013, was included in radio programming project ECOS "How to get lost and start listening" in July of this year in Lisbon, and transmitted by stress.fm radio.

The same is also among the sound pieces selected for the show Süden Radio Firenze> Berlin, held at Deutsche Bank Kunsthalle August 26 to September 8, 2013 and transmitted by radiopapesse.org Firenze, reboot.fm Berlin and Saout Radio Morocco, as well as the network radia.fm present in other european countries, USA and Canada.
