I'm Ruby.
I am a huge fan of metal and been into the music as early as age four! Deeply inspired by metal, I wanted to start my career path in music entertainment. I started out in radio as an intern for a few years and worked part-time as a Producer/Announcer for a local Southern Maryland radio station which as a background helped me earn the position I have today.
I am happy to say I'm still working in the music field covering metal and art. I am the Managing Editor for an international web site called Underground Web World. It's a web site that focuses on underground culture such as metal music, biker culture, science fiction art, photography, tattoo art, nature and other interesting matters. Part of my job is to manage and bring awareness to interesting individuals about our site. Our web site is not just any typical metal webzine. It was created for a deeper purpose. It includes a lot of useful information and many links that could be used as a tool or medium for creative ideas to artists and musicians. We are here to inspire.
Underground Web World is continuously growing and we are hiring more people for upcoming future projects. We are looking for people to help us here in the Washington D.C. area and internationally. If you like what we are doing and are interested in working for us, check out our help wanted page for details. People who speak German are a huge priority to us for our expansion in Europe. In future we hope to open an office in Berlin, Germany.

As far as my music background I'm a true rocker/headbanger. I'm an experienced musician who believes a well constructed song is not complete without a decent guitar solo. My favorite music genres is classic metal and rock from the '80s and early '90s or music in that style. I must mention I'm a avid speed/thrash and hair metal fan. I tend to be picky with what I listen to but I know what I like. I try to be open minded as possible, as long as it's music to my ears. I guess you can say I'm a guru or expert on the classic stuff. My musical interests can range anywhere from '60s and '70s classic rock to extreme black and death metal.
As for my personal life I love hanging with friends and family. I'm a very social individual and I normally can get along with anyone. I enjoy going to rock/metal concerts. I also love collecting metal rarities. Aside from my metal life, I stay tuned in on current world events. I happen to love nature and I loathe the people who do not care or have respect for it. I have deep interests in environmental protection and I try to contribute in many ways possible.
I always enjoy meeting new friends and networking with people in the field of art and music.
