Some Words (Said By RENO)"Some where I read that an artist cannot be a good businessman and a businessman cannot be (a) good artist at the same time. Artists are passionate people for art and business man balanced sheet for profit."
Said by RENO: "Lonely Passion in studio or with limited fans doesn't pay the bills...give your best for what you're being paid to do...and save your passion for your bedroom".
"Now I’m the Director and I spend all my time in meetings with clients & Traveling," he said, which leaves me very limited time for my passion about my music, Acting & Art so I am doing my best to link my artistic skills with my business practices.
I've been an independent artist for well over a Decade now and have gravitated back towards my music and acting - and can almost call myself an independent Artist even, having had some freelance commercial work in that area.
What I've found is that, rather than work on personal projects on the side, you use them to attract business. Often but not always, it's the personal projects that have the most vision, creativity and yes, even passion that makes them stand out and make potential clients go 'WoW'.
It's when the paying work comes in that you then need to find some kind of balance between doing the work you enjoy and doing the work that pays the bills.
A businessman who doesn't understand the need to be creative & Innovative enough in order to introduce something new & Unique to the marketplace is doomed to see their customers go tired of what is being offered for sale. It would eventually result in a drop of sales and profit
This is where I come in a picture as an artist and a businessman in a search of Creative Artists. So I can establish a Link in between Businesses & Artist to market & promote their new products, Services & programs etc, without an eye totally on the balance sheet. And Vice Versa for artist to have his/her art being promoted.
The artist who wants to make a living with his/her artistic abilities, must understand that there must be buyers for these abilities & creations. Passion is wonderful when it helps you do your very best, but not when it keeps you from completing a job and getting paid. Artists must know where to draw the line between personal and professional works."
To develop a real business sense as an artist or musician, you can't rely on income from any single source, but develop multiple streams of income. Each stream by itself may not amount to a lot, but if you have several streams going, it can add up to good numbers....!!!
In Peace, he works on his music and enjoys traveling/Browsing new places and shooting his documentary movies.

Artist as a Businessman - My focus is not generating capital, but generating culture.
MENLO PARK, California -- Collaborations between art and industry have a distinguished history, dating from Leonardo DaVinci to Charles and Ray Eames."
In Silicon Valley and other tech hubs, the story remains the same.
"Increasingly, technology companies are realizing that artists can bring a lot of insight which can later be commercialized," said entrepreneur Lisa Goldman, a moderator at "art frontiers," a two-day Silicon Valley symposium on partnerships between art and industry.
The symposium opened here Thursday at the Stanford Research Institute International. Among the nearly 300 attendees were video artist Bill Viola; venture capitalist and art collector Dick Kramlich; Joan Shigekawa of the Rockefeller Foundation; Xaos Tools founder Michael Tolson; and a host of researchers, digital artists, and curators.
In many cases, the lines between artist and entrepreneur were clear. But some attendees blurred those lines, presenting a range of possibilities.
Panelist Michael Tolson was an artist in the 1970s before he founded the successful software company Xaos Tools. But Tolson warned artists in the audience that there can be a downside to becoming an entrepreneur.
"Artists explore how human beings relate to technology, space, or a screen," said Snibbe, who attended the symposium. "They can come up with innovations that are different from what a technology company would come up with."
But artists have a more urgent role than simply furthering innovation, Naimark said. "If artists don't jump in and proactively help shape these powerful new tools," he said, "it will be left by default to advertisers, the military, organized religion, and sex peddlers."
Earlier in the day, a panel discussed similarities between artists and entrepreneurs. Venture capitalist Dick Kramlich and other business professionals praised artists' abilities to innovate and affect society -- then began calling themselves "artists."
This drew smirks from the audience, and criticisms of the state of arts funding in the United States. "I consider myself an artist and an entrepreneur," said Yael Kanarek, creator of the Web art project World of Awe. "My focus is not generating capital, but generating culture."
