Regular is pretty much the project of singer/songwriter John F. Kieltyka, who wrote and sang all of the material on the band's self-titled 2003 debut, which also had non-vocal contributions from four other musicians.
Regular is an oddity in that fairly conventional alternative rock melodies and singing are combined with inscrutable free-associative lyrics that haven't much of a chance at sticking with more pop-oriented listeners. ~ Richie Unterberger
