Red Mecca is a Swedish band with a bent toward dark, atmospheric electronica.
Based in Sundsvall, Sweden, the band centers around former Brända Barn keyboardist and percussionist Jan Strandqvist, and frontwoman Frida Madeleine. Red Mecca released their debut full-length album, You Were Never Here, in 2013. A year later, they returned with Covered with Rain, and in 2016, Red Mecca released their third full-length album, Electricity. ~ Matt Collar
