BabyFace Monster?

This highly marketable, smooth faced lyricist earns the right to call himself a monster on every bar he spits. From the beginning of his career anyone who’s heard his songs been amazed by the things that came out of his mouth. He’s always been over the top with his delivery to say the least. BFM says, “I go the hardest, aint shit sweet here!”. Thus his motto and signature catch phrase “Growl, Growl”, which you’ll hear shouted at the beginning of a track he’s about to eat. It simply symbolizes how hungry this man truly is.

Raised in Chicago's infamous southside section known as the Wild-Wild 100’s, Carl “BabyFace Monster” Jones, was a fan of hip-hop early in life. Coming up studying such greats like: Rakim, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, 2Pac, B.I.G, and Wu-Tang Clan. It wasn’t until after high school that he found his calling as a mc and founded Urb-Ledge, a trio with plans to set Chicago’s underground rap scene on fire. This portion of his life has set the tone for his whole career, because it was here in the late 90’s that he displayed skills that easily set him aside from average rappers, who think rap is just putting words that rythme together in a sentence. Instead he approached his love for hip-hop in a different direction. In some of the worst times of his youth he dug deep into his heart with descriptive tales of life coming from where he’s from, earning respect and fans from whoever listened.

Since the beginning of the millennium BFM has been gaining a reputation of being the live wire act with his spit in your face attitude and cleaver punchlines. Here he mastered his craft, having something to say about everything such as: sex, politics, street life, love, family, etc. Hes a seasoned veteran with over 10 years of writing, ghost-writing, free-styling, recording, and performing experience tucked under his belt.

2013, now one of hip-hop's most gifted secret's & fresh off the success of his debut 2012 EP “Cadillac Brougham Joints”, which is quickly approaching 15,000 in sales. BFM is now perfecting a classic debut album “the Making of A Monster" to be released in 2013! He's now set to introduce himself to an industry crying out for genuine artists who don't have to makeup cheesy dances to sell music. Instead of just writing 16 bars with a hook, he looks at music as an artist sculpting masterpieces. Conceptually he's a genius with a sense of humor always pushing the envelope. His storytelling paints pictures better than books. Also, he keeps high energy on murder tracks and connects to his audience on emotional songs.
