As a child he grew

uplistening to music while going to church with his mother Beverly, whichplayed a major role ,in encouraging hislove for music and planted the seed for his musical talent. He was introducedto the culture of reggae music through his father who noticed Raga's talent andpassion and encouraged him to pursue his music career..Times were not always easyfor Raga growing up, but his strong desire and determination to sing and becomea reggae artist never faded away. In his free time he would create instrumentsfrom pots and pans and use them to Dj .As he grew older he and his cousin wouldsneak out of the house to go listen to stereograph, stereo one. He worked withand learned from Sounds such as “ Black Scorpion”, “ King Jammy”, Agony, “ViewMaster”, “ Love Rock”, and many many more. He later befriended artist such as “Jah Zarro”, “ General Trees”, the late “Panhead”, “ Mikey Melody”, “Devano”Luciano, “Ghost”, “Kabeeba” “BoomaRankin”,”I-Wayne”, “Lady G”, “Beetle Baily”, and many more which he had thechance to record with many of them.He has worked with various labels such asScorpion label, Abvi Musik, M Productions, Carvel Music, Warrior Musik, ShyrickRecords , In addition Raga-z has been affiliated with some top producers suchas Ansil Collins, Joe Gibbs, and many more. He recorded his freshman albumcalled “ Ride With Me”, and also made a video a video called “Defend it”courtesy of M Productions. Feeling the need to spread his musical wings, themulti talented artist packed up and moved to Miami Florida in 2007 where he hadthe chance to meet the famous comedian Larry Dog. He also met and performedwith Purpose as well as peter Pablo. On Monday nights Raga-z would perform atsome of the local srtip clubs like Cokers, The Office and Pipeline. Heperformed at Tobacco Road as well as the Mixing Lounge which is now known asthe “trainline” Because of the internet and social networks and places likemyspace, and networking he was able to come in contact with other artist,producers, etc. He worked with King Banton and Mystic Soul as well. His debutacting came with a mini movie when he did small roles in, “ Bashment”, “Whatgoes around” and “Life In The Big City”.Raga-z is the first reggae artist toever perform for one of the largest retail stores in America, Home Depot.Raga-z has also worked with international producers such as Wacky T, Black Brown,Priceless Productions, Biggy the beat maker, Raga-z has done countlessinterviews with dj's like warm n easy from the UK, global links empressscorcher, double shotta, mad love, radd love, and dj rave from reggae air waves.Raga-z has taken his musical talents to a whole new level and performed onPhiladelphia and New York, during histravels he met promoters and was given the chance to return to his homeland andperform with George Nooks, Kilimajaro and Admiral Tibet. Raga -z is currentlyin the studio working on his secondalbum, which is soon to be released, called “Badder Dan Dem”which is the singlefrom the album and the video, that will soon be released..” We going to theparty”, “ Style Dem”, “ Children Smile” and “ Independent woman”are just some ofthe songs from this highly energetic and explosive album. Wayne Ingram and Gary“fattaicon” Dixon wrote most of the songs on this album. They have also startedtheir own radio station called Shyrick Dancehall Radio which has over 8, 000listners since its inception just a short time ago.Also Shyrick has a top chartwhere Raga-z has won several times with his songs like “ Simon Say” Style Dem””and “ She's Mine”. But Shyrick gives up and coming artist a chance to show casetheir musical talents by submittingtheir music and Dj Fattaicon plays their music on Mondays and Friday nights.Raga-z recently performed at a fund raiser at CB Smith Park In Miais mi.Wayne“Raga-z”Ingram is a fountain of talent that continues to overflow.
