Growing up in New York City, RACHEL ZEVITA has sung just about every style of music imaginable, performing since her early teens all over the city, even singing on the subway; she has learned to give her all, for audiences of any size.
ZEVITA embarked on a world tour with Armed Forces Entertainment, being among the first performers to visit Misawa AFB in northern Japan after the deadly Tsunami in 2011 devastated the area. Since then, she has gone on to perform in Australia, Egypt, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Korea, Guam; even going back to Misawa (and other cities in Japan) in 2012. ZEVITA has always been a "singer, a *songwriter* and a rockstar," so when she wasn't on tour, she wrote and recorded the material for her debut EP in Los Angeles with producer and co-writer Blake Sennett (The Elected, Rilo Kiley) at the helm, collaborating with other writers in L.A.The upcoming EP - "The Echo Sessions, Vol. 1" - is radio-ready pop that fuses beautiful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, danceable beats, and an unmistakably rock-n-roll attitude.
