PUSSY RIOT was an ITALIAN FEMALE BAND formed in 2004 not connected to the russian movement.
The band recorded their first album "DESTROY" in 2006 after touring and writing on the road.They liberately decided not to have a label or being infected by commercial purposes. They played only to make music!!!
The band split up in 2010 and when the russian collective happened to be arrested mass media made a big confusion between the two.
