Spanish pop/rock duet Niza made their live debut at Murcia's Automarte Festival in April of 1999, soon having the opportunity to play with British alternative pop/rock band Salako.
After contributing to a compilation called Consuma Pop Espanol, their self-titled CD single was released. An EP called Topolino was released in October of 2000; in addition, the group participated in a compilation called Curso de Espanol with the song "No Me Digas Que Estoy Sola." In 2001, Niza's first album was released, produced by Ian Catt. ~ Drago Bonacich
