C'est en 2002 que l'aventure de Yannick et Odran prend racine. D'abord en duo guitare/bombarde,

puis en groupe "Plantec". A leur actif, plus de huit cents concerts, Fest-Noz et festivals, tel que

le stade de France, La Tène festival (Suisse), Festival les Anthisnoises (Belgique) ainsi que six albums...

En juin 2012, Plantec nous dévoile leur nouvel opus en trio avec Gabriel "DjibriL" N'Dombi aux machines.

Ce disque aux couleurs métissées nous immerge dans leur univers de musique bretonne à danser

et d'electro sauvage.

With their 7th album ‘Awen’ released in

June 2012 and with more than 700 ‘Festous Noz’

(ceilis) and festivals to their name, both in France

and across Europe, Plantec have now

begun their ‘best of’ tour to include

50 concerts starting in June.

In 2002 Yannick and Odran began touring as

a guitar/bombarde (traditional oboe) duo.

For 8 months they travelled back and forth

across Brittany building a reputation whilst

at the same time developing their own

personal style and repertoire. A meeting with

the ‘Aztec Music’ label allowed them to

produce a first album whilst all the time

continuing to record and develop new work.

By fusing together elements of electric,

electro and acoustic sounds the two brothers’

compositions have succeeded in creating

a unique style whilst all the time continuing to be

dedicated to and functioning as dance music.
