For most of us, these fragments are trivial, but children can’t have anall-embracing view, since the world around them is too abstract, too wide. Theyonly see fragments of the whole and focus on a world that grown-ups no longerperceive at first sight. As far as they’re concerned, adults look at the worldthey live in in a holistic way. This probably is why they’re bound by reason.Or, on the contrary, what leads them to madness. Who knows? Through my picturesI intend, in all modesty, to bring those fragments of childhood back to life,to capture those things that have become invisible to most of us.”

Born in France, 43 years ago, Pierre has been living for the past ten yearsin the Haute-Provence area, once home to the great masters Jean Giono andCartier Bresson.

In his childhood, his grandfather, a gardener who usedto work wonders, introduced him to “the pictorial world”. Years later, Pierrecompleted an audio-visual training course so as to complete the education hereceived from his forefathers.

Today, as a freelance photographer, he works for anumber of Literary Publishers and are involved in promoting various artists viaconcerts, CD booklets, web advertising, video clips, etc.
