Depuis 2002 , il travaille principalement en numérique et en Polaroid. La même année, il crée son site web qui lui permet de diffuser plus largement ses clichés et de collaborer avec d’autres sites, magazines & revues de littérature comme La Femelle du Requin, Deus Ex Machina (pour un numéro spécial sur l’œuvre de Franz Kafka) et dernièrement pour la revue américaine Antique Children.

C’est également par ce biais qu’il rencontre l’éditeur allemand Camakarma avec lequel il participe à la réalisation du coffret concept Nachtvorstellung.

Parallèlement à ses travaux personnels, son attachement au milieu musical lui vaut d’être souvent demandé pour des pochettes de disques, vidéos, projections & autres visuels. En 2007, il est remarqué par Simon Huw Jones du groupe anglais And Also The Trees qui lui propose d’illustrer leur dixième album (listen for) The Rag and Bone Man, s’en suit une collaboration avec les artistes Frédéric Truong, Xavier Plumas (Tue Loup), Ulan Bator, Sieben et plus récemment avec les groupes A Singer Must Die, Little Nemo et Fawl.

Plusieurs expositions & projections à son actif, à Drouot Richelieu à Paris, à la Maison Daniel Féry de Nanterre, à la Galerie de L’Imagerie à Lannion et en dehors de l’hexagone à Varsovie, Bruxelles… ainsi que dans différents lieux dédiés à la musique comme Le Divan du Monde, Glazart, Les 3 Baudets, Le Rex Club…

Commodore, son premier livre, est paru en juin 2008 aux éditions Swarm Records.

A l’origine du Projet Terres Neuves, un nouveau concept d’édition alliant photographie, musique et littérature avec des artistes & écrivains français

et étrangers.

French photographer Jérôme Sevrette first started his artistic work in the late 80’s and used silver-based photography until the end of the 90’s.

Since 2002, he has been mainly working on Digital and Polaroid. In the same year, he created his own website which allowed him to become known and collaborate with other websites, magazines & literary reviews such as La Femelle du Requin, Deus Ex Machina (for a special issue about Franz Kafka) et lately for the US review Antique Children. Through this magazine he met German editor Camakarma and took part in the artwork of the conceptual boxed set Nachtvorstellung. While going on his personal photographic works, his passion for music often brought him to be appealed to make some albums covers artwork, videos, shows and other visual works. In 2007, he got discovered by Simon Huw Jones from UK band And Also The Trees who ask him to make the artwork of their 10th album (listen for) The Rag and Bone Man.Then he collaborated with French songwriter Frédéric Truong for the album Vers le nouveau monde, with Xavier Plumas (Tue-Loup) for his debut solo album La Gueule du Cougouar, also with Ulan Bator for the album cover of their EP Soleils, and lately with singer and brilliant violinist Matt Howden (Sieben) for his album Star Wood Brick Firmament.

Several exhibitions and shows by Jérôme Sevrette, in cultural places such as Drouot Richelieu in Paris, Maison Daniel Féry in Nanterre, Galerie de L’Imagerie in Lannion and in other European places: Warsaw, Brussels… and also some famous venues in Paris, such as Le Divan du Monde, Glazart, Les 3 Baudets, Le Rex Club…

Commodore, his debut book, was published in 2008 by Swarm Records. The eponymous video was officially selected in 2010 in the 6th event of Rencontres Cinématographiques de Cerbère.
