Phased - hailed as the Hawkwind of doom, dissed as too-well-dressed-to-rock - play some weird sort of psychedelic and heavy doom. When their wall of sound hits the desert, the sand is blown to the astral sea. Drawn out riffs, spacey sounds, dark and metallic, such can the music be described... as Phased playfully avoid falling into the various traps of genres, they play in their own league.

Originally found in 1997, the band went through numerous line-up changes. Since 2012 the line-up is: Chris Sigdell, singer & guitarist; Marko Lehtinen, drummer, Marco Grementieri (founding member of Zatokrev), bass. Phased is a classic power-trio with members hailing from Sweden, Finland and Switzerland.

While Phased have played with a number of hot-shots - among the more well-known are: High On Fire, Nebula, Grief, Orange Goblin, Dozer, Colour Haze, Los Natas, and Damo Suzuki who they backed on his stop-over in Basel - they readily headline their own shows and festivals.

By now they have appeared on festivals such as the Swamp Room Festivals (Munich & Hannover), Stoned From The Underground, Mad Santa, Dawn Of Doom, Doom Over Vienna, Halleluja Stoner, Rockt Den See and... DOOM SHALL RISE.
