The indie pop trio Lock Up Your Daughters molds quirky synth pop among their own brash lyrical rants.
Formed in late 1999, the group of college friends from Minneapolis consists of Laurel Podulke (vocals/bass), Mike Gainor (guitar), and John Paulson (keyboards/drum machine). They playfully mess around with their own personal situations for musical amusement, which landed them a deal with Play Nice Records. The Please Bear Please EP was issued in summer 2000. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
