Pay-per-frog is the sound of norwegian snow melting in the spring sun, evenings by the beach, red wine and bad jokes.
Very nice for sleeping, chilling in the sun and driving on open roads...

Summer 2009 Pay-per-frog did their first ever live appearances in an old 2nd world war bunker (Bunker #19) at Hovefestivalen on an island outside Arendal. Improvised ambient music in a pitch black room twice a day. This was a part of the art-project "Mønsterundersøkelse av lyd" - Using only guitars with effects and an old piano with a woven light-screen (made by Elin Igland) hooked up to every key, making a nice light-show in the dark bunker, setting the mood for a relaxing break from the noise and the sun.

Our music has been widely used in documentaries, extreme-sport films, art projects and has been picked up by norwegian and european radio stations.

in 2010 Pay-per-frog went from a duo to a quintet after handpicking some of our favourite musicians in Oslo. The same year they played the Canal Street Jazz festival and beatiful Hovefestivalen among others. As Mats Aaronsen put it : " Pay-per-frog is like a vibrating soundlaboratory! "

One year later they released their debut album : Solid Air / Stillicides

which features music from the last decade on 12" vinyl and digital.

In 2011 Pay-per-frog got together with norwegian experimental dancegroup "Domogalladance" and returned to Canal Street Jazz Festival with the show "I Vektløs Tilstand" (In A Weightless State") performed on a small island in the fjords of Arendal.

After this they have toured throughout the country with a varied constellations of members, ranging from full shows with 9 people to smaller club and performance shows with 2 musicians and 2 dancers, and dj-sets within the art community of Oslo.
