Paul Lewis' first major band project was the relatively successful, alt-euro-pop Y-Not?!, which enjoyed seven years of touring both American coasts with Hootie and the Blowfish, the Dave Matthews Band, the Fix and the Alarm.
Y-Not?! landed a recording deal with indie label Marquis Records out of Virginia and a distribution deal with Relativity in 1992, and produced the album A Thrilled Voice. In 1998, Dublin Music distributed a demo release, 6 Years, 8 Months, & 16 Days, a popular departure album among the 12-string cappuccino crowd. ~ Becky Byrkit
