He was profoundly influenced by Frederic Francois CHOPIN whom he calls fondly in French, "mon professeur." He has also been touched by the music of Claude Debussy,Franz Lizst, Robert Schumann, Franz Schubert, Camille Saint-Saens, Peter Tschaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Sergei Rachmaninov., Beethoven's pre-Romantic era works for piano such as Moonlight Sonata, the Appasionata and the Pathetique have also influenced PAUL FRANCOIS' exquisite penchant for creating beautiful music...

He showed his exceptional and uncanny musical ability starting at the age of 3 when his parents bought him a toy marimba and he began to play classical and pop music at that tender age. He followed in the footsteps of his mother HELOISE who was a great classical pianist and is a superb composer and songwriter. PAUL FRANCOIS has written many pop songs in English, French,Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German .He has also composed many ballets and enjoys writing music for the cinema when the films are romantic. He is very romantic by nature... He grew up in the midst of a polyglot family and friends between Manhattan, New York., France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Germany. He is a New Yorker of French & Spanish descent. His godparents are Italian. He has a doctorate and two postdoctorates.

Mr.Francois released his first CD “THE MUSICAL MAGIC OF PAUL FRANCOIS AND HELOISE in September of 2006. It is a collection of beautiful, romantic songs written by him and his mother, the great songwriter and composer HELOISE. There are ballads, boleros, pop rocks, a bolero ranchera and a song for piano and strings. There are songs on this CD in English, Spanish, French and Italian. The CD is being played at many radio stations in the United States, theNetherlands, continental Spain, the Canary Islands, New Zealand, Australia and Bielorrusia.

Subsequently,he has just released his second double CD entitled “MOSAIC – MOSAIQUE –MOSAICO” in April of 2011 which shows his versatility as a singer-songwriter where he encompasses many different musical genres such as ballads, pop rocks,an acid rock, pop ballads,a rumba flamenco "VIVA ESPANA dedicated to Spain, 2 patriotic songs: "MI ASTURIAS" to the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain and one to France,"LA FRANCE C'EST MON PAYS". There are also waltzes and even a salsa. Following his style of world music, he has composed and sung songs in French, Spanish, Italian and English on this double album. His music is permeated with beautiful lyrics and truly beautiful and melodious music and his "classical music training clearly shows in his emotional and beautiful melodies.

In 2008, PAUL FRANCOIS released his beautiful single, a classic Christmas Carol, entitled "THE WONDER OF CHRISTMAS."

Mr. Francois also released a CD of classical music composed by him entitled “SUITE FANTASMAGORIQUE – 13 BALLETS”which was recorded live at a studio in Paris, France in the year 2011. This suite was composed during a trip to France, Spain, Portugal,Italy, United Kingdom and Germany. For that reason, there are ballets with titles in all these western European languages.

In 2012, Paul Francois released his CD in Spanish with one song in English titled,“Amor y Desamor” which is a compilation of passionate, romantic and beautiful love songs at times describing the joy of love and also the loss of love and its feelings of desperation. Of special note in this CD is the dramatic, poignant song ,"SE TERMINO"(It's over) which was composed by his mother, the great composer and songwriter HELOISE. The entire album encompasses beautiful ballads, dramatically expressive and heart-rending boleros and a divine song for voice, orchestra and strings, "PIEL A PIEL". There is also a classic gorgeous ranchera titled "TUS OJOS AZULES." The ballad "ANORANZA" is wistful, rife with passion and the emotional pain of being away from the loved one and the possibility of not seeing that person again. The CD ends with a clincher, the English version of "ANORANZA" entitled "EACH DAY THAT YOU ARE FAR AWAY" which PAUL FRANCOIS wrote for all his English-speaking artist friends and fans of his music all over the world. In 2013, Paul Francois released his single, "THIS IS OUR LAND" which is an anthem that he composed dedicated to the American people.
