Over Dead In Over formed in 2004, founded by Luca Giacchetti (Guitar), Alessio Corinaldesi (Bass) and Stefano Mencarelli (Vocals).
Soon after, in 2005, their first EP/demo "My Allmightiness My Weakness" was released, where influences from Scandinavian Death Metal and American Thrash Metal were in evidence. After many live performances and a fair success in the Italian Death Metal scene, the band temporarily split up for line-up problems. In 2008, Over Dead In Over started composing again when two new members, Diego Marinangeli (Drums) and Mauro Bonfiglio (Guitar), joined the band. Compared to their first demo, the music then sounded more evolved, with an overlook towards modern bands like Meshuggah or Machine Head, although the band's Death Metal roots were still strong.
After 3 years of hard songwriting work, in November 2011 the band released their auto-produced debut album called "Resolution Formula", that met with success in the International underground panorama, obtaining top marks reviews by some of the most important Metal fanzines and webzines. Despite this good success, the band is still looking for a label company. In 2012, Over Dead In Over made their fist auto-produced video for the song "Neglected by Heart" from "Resolution Formula" album. In the same year, the band went through some line-up changes since Alessio Corinaldesi (Bass) decided to leave Over Dead In Over for personal reasons and a new bass player joined the band, Federico Gatto, a long-time friend of Mauro Bonfiglio's. Despite that, Alessio Corinaldesi keeps on cooperating with the band on the organizational side. Currently, with their new line-up, Over Dead In Over are working on the new album and have recently released a new video for the song "Dead Salvation" (from the album "Resolution Formula"), totally directed and shot by the drummer Diego Marinangeli.
