Rising from the necropolis of Binghamton NY in 2002 and fueled by the words and music of Mark Dickinson (Abalienation, Bloodsuckingfreaks). Others bring their own eclectic blend of Gothic, horror & metal to the fold, creating vivid nightmare scenes. Others currently have fifteen independent releases, the latest being "Hello Darkness" and have been included in many compilations and several films. They have also created two short films, "Under the Sunset" (winner of the 2009 International Haunted Horror Film Fest for best Horror Musical) & "Broken Vessels" (winner of the 2009 International Haunted Horror Film Fest for best music Video & Horror Band - both available on DVD) and several videos to put visuals to their horror themed music. Never one to settle on making the same album twice, Others constantly change their sound, creating a different concept/story/atmosphere for each album. Taking influence from Danzig, Misfits, Type-O Negative, Cradle of Filth and Marilyn Manson to name a few. The band is set to hit the studio in June / July 2013 to record their ode to Black Metal, "Our Hearts Turn Black" with guest volkillist Frank Rotregez. Binghamton is the Home of Rod Serling, creator of the Twilight Zone Television Series. So there must be something in the water...
