Osmani Soundz first started DJing back in 1988 in londons eastend and has been making cutting edge electronic music for more than two decades. A pioneer in the UK Asian Underground scene, his long list of achievements includes producing one of the first ever Asian Drum and Bass track (Spiritual Masterkey), released way back in 1994 then a re-release on the Anokha Soundz Of The Asian Underground (1997) on island records.

A co member and artist of the renowned ‘Nasha Records’ label alongside label boss's Ges-e and Sobur and a founding member of the ‘Nasha Experience’, Osmani’s eclectic style blends Eastern/Asian and underground electronic influences, leading the way for Asian DnB, breaks and dubstep for many years.

Osmani Soundz emerged from the Osmani Knights Soundsystem – a collective of deejays, rappers, dancers and artists from London's East End. From the late 1980s, Osmani's DJ sets were pioneering blends of electronic sounds alongside classical Indian and Bollywood influences, going on to become a resident at the legendary Anokha weekly Sessions at the Blue Note in Hoxton(Shoreditch).

Osmani has subsequently performed and had residencies at some legendary venues, including The End, Fabric, 93 Feet East, The Vibe Bar, Herbal Gramaphone,! to name a few and performances at the South Bank Centre, the Barbican, the Jazz Cafe, and even the Royal Albert Hall. He has played alongside the likes of Talvin Singh and Nitin Sawhney, has toured the world over, and has a stack of record releases to his name.

In 2005 Osmani Soundz and Ges-e aka “The Nasha Experience” went to India for a live Project to perform and headline the Jaipur Intrnational Music Festival along side Aref Durvesh and featuring the great sarangi player Ustad Ramzan Khan of Rajasthan.

The Nasha Experience dance work has been featured at the Royal Opera House, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Spitalfields, Greenwich and Docklands Festival and Trafalger Square Festivals.

The Nasha Experience composed music for Vena Rampal’s - The City Dreams contemporary dance performance at Trafalger Square festival (2005).

The Nasha Experience Live collaboration projects included performing at the Clandestino Music Festival (Sweden) Featuring Swati Natekar, Aref Durvesh, Akterv8r and Kumar.

Lille 3000 Festival in France 2006,

Also playing alongside Nitin Sawhney’s band at the BBC ELECTRIC PROMS at the Round House (2006), BBC PROMS at the ROYAL ALBERT HALL (2007) and a week at the Famous London Jazz Cafe(2007).

Osmani Soundz and Ges-e have since set up N.E.M.M.O. (Nasha Education Music and Multimedia Organization) an education wing of Nasha Records, helping young people in Tower Hamlets to be creative and helping young people achieve accredited qualifications in music and multi media leading on to higher education.

The most anticipated project the “Nasha V3” compilation album is out now.. featuring 16 tracks from Ges-e, Osmani Soundz, Sukh Knight, Shandy, Nuphlo, Gunmaster G9, Pyarelal and The Nasha Experience.
