Orestes Graphics is the alias and creation of David Anderson.
David is a life long resident of the Arkansas Ozarks region in the southern United States. Born in 1982, he developed an interest in drawing at a young age and practiced traditional art techniques all through high school. It was some time after high school that David discovered computer generated art as a medium and has been working with it almost exclusively since. The first CG applications David mastered were Planetside's Terragen and Photoshop CS, and over the course of a few years created over 400 digital landscapes, many of which can be viewed in the Gallery. He also enjoys working with Bryce, Poser and ZBrush. In late 2009 David made the change from creating Poser Content as a hobby to a career full time. Since then he has brokered many products of Sci-Fi and high Fantasy theme though Daz3d.com, the world's top 3D content provider. David specializes in prop sets of interior and exterior environments, but also creates animation ready figures of fantasy creatures and high tech machines, as well as high quality Brush sets for Photoshop. When not working on Digital art, David works hands on forging unique copper jewelery, which can be seen at www.coquettecreations.com, with his wife Karen. David is also a strong Halloween and horror enthusiast, and in his spare time also creates Halloween themed props and sculptures, some of which have been displayed in prominent art shows in his local area. To see more of his horror creations, visit the site of his alter alias Sytnathotep at www.sytnathotep.com. David's other interests include photography, cooking, astronomy, sci fi and riding his motorcycle with Karen. David's works are also online at Renderosity, DeviantArt, Daz3d, Facebook and his personal website, www.orestesgraphics.com
