One Cure For Man is the visionary solo project of James Parkinson, an impassioned guitarist/vocalist/songwriter from Lancashire.
Fired with an early love for music and blessed with a strong desire to create, it wasn't until the age of 17 when he began playing guitar and writing songs. Early compositions were raw, unfiltered and bursting with a surplus of lyrics and ideas yet always unique.

Soon he began sharpening his own language and melodic musical style into emotional and focused material. Inspired by bands like The Smiths, The Jam & Manics and writers, poets and artists such as Orwell, Plath and Grosz, he found that through all creative forms it gave him the full freedom to express and achieve something totally individual.

Today James writes about anything he feels of worth, digging into the very depths of the human condition. Through his art, words and intense, emotive melodies, he continues to create challenging and beautiful music that truly means something.
