Ombre Zion est né à Pikine dans la banlieue dakaroise.

il a grandit dans un environnement de melomanes qui écoutaient beaucoup le REGGAE d'ou parvient ses premières influences.très tôt attiré par le RAGGA MUFFING ,il a commencé a reprendre les hits jamaicains de cet époques et s'est rapidement initié en chants et en toasts .

Ombrezion débute la première partie de sa vie artistique au college avec deux amis Jah Man et Tékan qui partageaient la meme passion.ils formerent le groupe SUPREME KADU MAGG (SKM) en 1994.

Il se penche sur sa carriere solo et fait ses galons au niveau de la scène a partir de 2005. Son style particuliers lui a valu de nombreux featurings. Il a participé à de multiples projets nationaux et internationaux ( MCZ d'ou la participation de grands artistes Jamaicains comme Tarrus Riley ,Romain Virgo ,Sizzla etc .

En 2010 il participa a l'atelier Mandinka Groove du festival Banlieue Rythme de Guédiawaye et au Festival Pireneoss Sure en Espagne. Aujourd’hui Ombré Zion, accompagné du Fagasu Band, joue pratiquement dans les grands spectacles a Dakar et un peu partout au Sénégal. Sa participation à la troisième édition du Festival Mondial des Arts Nègres (FESMAN 3) lui a valu une très grande reconnaissance sur le plan national et africain.En 2012 au Festival Africa Fete de Mamadou Konté et au concert Decouverte de CCF Insrtitut Linguistique Leopold Sedar Senghor

On peut noter aussi sa participation tres marquante au BEMA SALAM MUSIC EXPO a la Maison de la culture Douta SECK.Le 11mai 2013 au Grand Théatre de Dakar au Djolof Reggae Festival

Ombre Zion was born in Senegal Pikine suburb. He grew up in a lot of music lovers who listened to the REGGAE where he got his first influences.Early attracted by RAGGA MUFFING, he reacted by a resume of Jamaican hits that times and quickly initiated himself in songs and toasts.

Ombrezion began the first part of his artistic life with two college friends Tekan Jah Man who shared the same passion.they formed the group SUPREME KADU Magg (SKM) in 1994.

He leaned on his solo career and made his stripes at the scene from 2005. His particular style has earned him a lot of featurings with the most famous rappers in Sénégal. He has participated in lot of national and international projects.

In 2010 he participated in the Mandinka GROOVE produced by Banlieue Rhythm Festival Guédiawaye and Pireneos Sure in Spania. Today Ombre zion Zion and the Fagasu Band( professionnal musicians) perfoms in lot of clubs and festivals in Sénégal

His participation in the third edition of the World Festival of Black Arts and Cultures (FESMAN 3) has earned a great recognition nationally and african.In 2012 his performance was outstanding in Africa Fete Festival of Mamadou Konte .Decouverte CCF Insrtitut Linguistics Leopold Sedar Senghor on may 2012.BEMA Salam Music Expo Festiaval.Djolof Reggae Festival at the Grand Theatre of Daka
