Then, with Evil Master and Morbus Dementiae decided to begin testing some songs at the beginning of summer of that year. A few months later will join Nazak and Hellscream, giving a special touch and running out to define this band. At the entrance of the winter of 2008 was completed their first self-released demo, entitled Plaguelands. In early May 2009, Hellscream left the band and joined Frozen Wind. In July 2010 Nazak is expelled from the band. Also, Psycho 666 (Hats Barn and Balaam) collaborated with the band during the Oporto´s live in July as a vocalist.

Omasum recorded their album in October 2010, called “Claim the Evil for Eternity”.

Los inicios de este grupo se remontan al 2006, en Ciudad Real, (España) pero el proyecto se mantuvo estancado hasta principios de 2008, cuando por iniciativa de Velghiagoth, comenzó a componer los primeros temas.

Más tarde y junto a Morbus Dementiae y Evil Master decidieron comenzar a ensayar varios temas al comienzo del verano de ese mismo año. Unos meses mas tarde se unirán Nazak y Hellscream , aportando un toque particular y acabando por definir esta banda. A la entrada del invierno de 2008 se terminó la auto-edición de su primera demo, titulada Plaguelands. A principios de Mayo de 2009, Hellscream abandona la banda y se incorpora Frozen Wind. El 8 de Enero de 2010, Omasum ofrece su primer concierto en Oporto (Portugal). En julio de 2010 Nazak se va de la banda.

Además, Psycho 666, (Hats Barn y Balaam) colaboró con la banda durante el directo de Oporto en julio como vocalista. En Octubre de 2010, Omasum graba su disco: «Claim the Evil for Eternity».
