The Hamburg Death-Metal battleship DEVASTATOR crosses the seas of agony since 2002.
Neither storm nor waves could stop this ship. In 2004 the first creation, the intensely brutal "Demo 2004" arose, and defined the future musical direction. The next album, "Beyond Massacre", followed in 2007. This album improved the technical level and received tremendous critical acclaim from both the press and fans.

In the following years DEVASTATOR was honored to perform several concerts with bands like Nile, Belphegor, Eisregen, Pungent Stench, Vader and Entombed. Moreover, several local and national festivals, such as Love & Peace Festival 2006 and Grindabalooza 2007 were devastated and pounded to the ground.

After line-up changes, the quintet of annihilation now consists of Lenny (V), Wolf (G), Carsten (G), Nick (B) and Eggi (D). In 2012 this gifted crew gave birth to the second crushing album called "Through Oceans of Flesh". The core was focused on a more brutal and devastating force, where the true passion of all crew members influenced each song and could be felt until the very last beat per minute.

With today’s line-up and this new creation of pure destructive faith, DEVASTATOR performed memorable gigs at Barther Metal Open Air 2010,Blackway Open Air 2010 and Eisenwahn Festival 2012 as well as several club performances with bands such as Krisiun and Master. At last the cooperation with well-known names of the genre like Andy Classen makes very clear what the battleship stands for: pure annihilation of every anatomic limit and inconsiderate passion for music. The incomparable sick stage performance breaks a wave of live-spirit, holding the flag of death metal-liberation.

When this war machine fires its artillery, ears, bones and organs will burst. Brace yourself... the apocalypse is near!
