This ill-fated pop rock act seemed set to revive the careers of ex-Diamond Head singer Sean Harris and guitarist Robin George, but was aborted before it had a chance to get off the ground.
With an expensively recorded debut for the relaunched Bronze label, with George contributing all instrumentation, the future seemed bright, but the duo was reluctant to recruit a touring band when pressed by the record company, as they viewed Notorious as a ‘studio project’. The disagreement resulted in Notorious being deleted after only three weeks on release. The album itself was an underrated effort, with Robert Plant’s solo work an obvious influence, and produced an excellent single in ‘The Swalk’. Denied any real chance of success, the duo parted company, with Harris returning to a revived Diamond Head.
