      Step One: Plaster the subject's face (be sure to generously apply Vasseline and use a swim cap!)

      be sure to evenly cover the subject's face from the chin and jaw line, around the ears and up over the head about 2/3 of the way up.

      leave room for the nostrils and eyes if the subject is at all claustrophobic

      when plaster is set, gently remove the plaster all in one piece by carefully prying up and away from the subject's face.

      be sure to not take yourself to seriously.

      allow the subject to bond with their own face

      After mixing and pouring enough Plaster of Paris to completely backfill the casting (lined with Vaseline)

      remove the bandages once the Plaster of Paris has dried for a min of 4 hours. It will still be soft and somewhat pliable, so handle w care

      gently remove bandage cast lifting from the chin up

      note the irregularities and voids where bubbles formed during the casting process.
