Noemi Luz is a Latin contemporary Christian music (CCM) vocalist whose second album, Palabras (2007), was a crossover success on the Latin Pop Albums chart.
Born on November 3, 1975, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Luz made her full-length album debut with Vino a Verte in 2003. Four years later she released her second album, Palabras, a collaboration with celebrated Argentine-Venezuelan singer/songwriter Ricardo Montaner. Credited as the executive producer of Palabras, Montaner co-wrote four of the album's songs, including the duet "La Gloria de Dios." The collaboration with Montaner helped Luz break into the Top 20 of the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
