Formed in 2004 with brothers Javier and Marco Sandoval (on guitar and drums, respectively), and their childhood friend Victor Magallanes (bass). They opened for other local bands until 2006 when they decided to take a hiatus.

Con Razón (which means "with reason" in Spanish)reformed in 2009 adding Pablo Magallanes (Victor's brother) onkeyboard/synth/guitar to the lineup. Opening for regional legends The Big Spank, Con Razónreached new audiences in Arizona and Colorado. They released their debut album "The Rest Goes Faded" inFebruary 2011 with the help of Redhand Records and Firehydrant Records.

Continuing to play local shows the band plans to release anew album of songs in 2014. Having addedmulti-instrumentalist Robert Miranda to the lineup in late 2013 the band haswritten many new songs with a more textured sound. The Album promises to be a more cohesive set;written within the same time frame as opposed to their first album which was acollection of songs written over a much longer period.
