In 2010 his band Chasing Sun won the "Ric's Bar" inaugural "Exposed - Band Competition" after defeating 50 local bands over 10 weeks. The prize included a weekend at Ian Haug's Airlock Studios where the band recorded their debut single "Psychotic Highway". The song now features on the American compilation album "Riot On Sunset Vol.27".

Nic has performed as a solo and with bands along the East Coast of Australia performing originals & covers from as far north as Cooktown and down south to Melbourne, playing a range of events from, birthdays, weddings, funerals and festivals to venues small and large, such as The Zoo & HiFi in Brisbane and Magnums in Airlie Beach. In 2013 along with his band he embarked on a 10 week tour of the east coast, ripping it up from Brisbane to Far North Queensland and back home.

Nic has an extensive array of diverse covers & originals and can perform for any occasion,

he has 4 independently recorded albums and is currently working on a new release for 2014.

Nic is an emotive story teller with a Rock edge. The sheer vocal passion, captivating stage presence and stories of a life expected to go completely wrong make for an act that is nothing short of mesmerising.
