I started my journey in 1991 at age 19 in Hiroshima, Japan.
I got my start in an original band, styled after Metallica and Megadeth, which I co-founded with the guitarist and gave name to. After becoming one of the biggest bands in Hiroshima, we caught the attention of CBS and SONY Japan. All good things must come to an end.

In 1994, I moved to Los Angeles, California and helped form the first incarnation of SIGHT UNSEEN. After the vocalist, who named the band, left his 12-step program, that was the end of that.

I returned to Japan in 1996 and reformed SIGHT UNSEEN with my little brother. During the reconstruction of SIGHT UNSEEN, I met Shawn Harding and instantly started a musical bond that has lasted a decade. Go to guitar9.com to hear his solo CD that I'm featured on. We didn't know it at the time, but this CD would lay the groundwork for the current incarnation of SIGHT UNSEEN (myspace.com/sightunseenmusic).
