THE NEUROTOMY MARK ZERO are:

Neurotomy was born in the November of 1993 with ex-members of Morbid Vision, No Room For Anger, Athena and Hysterica, (Mau,Mikey and Luka Emme), and began to compose his first songs. The present Line-up takes form during November'95, when they meet Alex Ielo ex-Vocalist of Schizo.

THE NEUROTOMY MARK I are:

With Alex all songs are rearranged and finally, on the 1st and 2nd February '96, Neurotomy go to record their first Demo-Tape titled "In Extremis" at the "Strana Officina Studio", in Livorno, with Dario Cappanera as sound engineer. The songs recorded in the studio are "Disillusion (Intro)","Experiment in Hate", "Catalepsy", "My Astral Deformities", "Definitive Collapse" and "Esoteric Turmoils (Outro)". The 14 of March '96 Neurotomy have their first Live-act with the new line-up in Livorno and, in the following months, some other concert in the vicinities. On June '96 Neurotomy sign a Deal with an Italian Label, Metal Horse Prod., for the "Dawn of Gods II" compilation, coming on March of '97. On October of '96 Neurotomy have their first important concert like guest of Sadist and in the future they make a good collaboration of gigs with Neurotomy. In February '97 Alex for some problems leaves the band, and in hisposition has taken by Mikey now Bass-player and vocalist. It is then that you write new songs that will make their appearance in the subsequent and devastating result of "In extremis". In April '97 Mikey of “Neurotomy”and Andrea of “Hellrage” organize a Death Black Massacre night live, called"Storm Of Chaos". The gig performace incluses bands like “FuneralOration”, “Journey through the dark” and other many bands. In May '97 Neurotomy change their Logo. The new designer is a great professional and his name is Christophe Szpajdel, the same designer of"Emperor" and other Norway's Black Metal band. On the same month Neurotomy take a second guitar-man: Marco, just in time to return back to the studio.

THE NEUROTOMY MARK II are:

The 10th June '97 Neurotomy play like guest to Sinister in Livorno. Finally in February '98 Neurotomy goes to record their 2nd Demo-tape called "Beginning Holocaust", the tape is recorded in the same studio of the first-one the "Strana Officina Studio" by Dario Cappanera, and edited and mastered at "West-Link Recorder" by Ovi, the tracks recorded are "Beginning Holocaust (Intro)", "Image of broken thoughts", "CongenitalPerversion", "Come Eternally Infected", "The weak lights of misanthropy" and "Disillusion’98 (Outro)".

Unfortunally in the first of '99 Neurotomy for some troubles melt.

The end?

In the end of 2006 Neurotomy are coming back with the first three founding members (Mau, Mikey and Luka Emme) and the new guitarist Riccardo.

THE NEUROTOMY MARK III *(MARK V) are:

The new stile of the band is tourning back in a DEATH METAL!!!!!!!

The songs on "In extremis" were written by:

All the songs were written by Mau, and arranged by Neurotomy except the song "Esoteric Turmoils (Outro)" which was written by Mikey.

The song “Disillusion” were written and arranged by Mau.

The lyrics are by Alex.

The songs on “Beginning holocaust” were written by:

All the songs were written by Mau, and arranged by Neurotomy except the song “Beginning holocaust (Intro)” which was written by John Manza, who worked at the keyboards.

The lyrics are by Alex except the song “Image of Broken Thoughts” which was written by Mikey.

What happened between the year 1999 and year 2001?

In middle '99 a new band is formed by maintaining the name “Neurotomy”,and only surviving member of the original Line-up is Mikey. Remains in this new incarnation of the band also the guitarist Marco (MARK II), and together withnew members Alex Briganti, Giovanni, Riccardone and Luca Lembo, give way to a new style of music inside the band. The new way is an Heavy-Gothic opened from many influencies.

THE NEUROTOMY MARK III *(MARK I) are:

Alex Briganti: Vocals - Marco: Guitar - Riccardone: Guitar - Mikey: Bass - Giovanni: Synthetizers – Luca Lembo: Drums.

In the middle of 2000 the new Line-up take out the new demo printed on CD titled "Life is fading intoBlack" and recorded, engineered, edited and mastered at West-Link Recorderin Cascina (PI) by Ale & Ovi. The songs recorded are "Life is fading into black (Intro)", "Shattered Soul", "...And She was following Dead Faces", "Neverlight" and "Prisoner of a Dream". The new work is also "Top Demo" on “www.metal.it“ and the band back to play live some concert. In the following months the band work on four new songs ("Innate Suffering", "The Illusionof Life", "Fallen Angel" and "Demon of Loneliness").Unfortunally, for new troubles inside the band, Mikey, Riccardone and Luca Lembo leave Neurotomy. Alex Briganti, Giovanni and Marco go on and, with Anton Chaney from Death SS on drums and the friend Emiliano on bass, back to work on thesong "Child of Hatred" thus producing their latest work. In the beginning of 2001"Child of Hatred" was recorded, engineered, edited and mastered at West-Link Recorder by Ale & Ovi. After this recording session the newbass-player Riccardino joins the band.
