Emo-pop band Floral Terrace got together in Haverstraw, New York in 2008, founded by childhood friends Justin Olori (vocals) and George Bosotina (guitar/vocals).
The two later brought on drummer John Damiano (ex-Southcott); several other bandmembers came and went before Oneil Andrews (guitar) and Bill Houlihan (bass) joined up to make the band complete. Floral Terrace played out gigs around the area alongside groups like Envy on the Coast, the Ready Set, Hawthorne Heights, and Every Avenue, eventually hunkering down with producer Jim Wirt (the Rocket Summer, Jack's Mannequin) to work on their EP, The Better Life. The completed record was released in April 2011 via Crushtone Records. ~ Corey Apar
