Neal Coomer is a singer, songwriter, actor and writer who began his career in Nashville as a recording artist.
In recent years he has shared the stage, as a background singer, with artists such as Cyndi Lauper, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Sting, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Garth Brooks, Steven Tyler, Lady Gaga, and many others. He sang on the theme song for NBC’s “30 Rock”, the current theme song for the animated series “Pokemon”, episodes of “Smash”, and frequently on “Saturday Night Live”. He has performed on “The Late Show with David Letterman”, “Good Morning America”, “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”, the “2008, 2010 and 2011 Kennedy Center Honors” and “The Country Music Awards” to name a few. His studio work ranges from movies to musical theatre, from video games to jingles for brands such as Gillette and Geico, etc.

Neal recently performed an original concerto that he co-wrote with world renowned violinist Alexander Markov to a sold out crowd at Carnegie Hall. The same concerto has been performed with orchestras in Turkey, Mexico, and The United States. He has been a guest vocalist with the Nashville Ballet, performing a ballet choreographed by artistic director Paul Vasterling. For the past 13 years he has performed the leading role in 3 musicals that have played at different venues around the country.
