On April 24, Zach Braff launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund his second feature film, 'Wish I Was Here,' which he co-wrote and plans to direct and star in. Braff's 2004 film, 'Garden State' (Fox Searchlight), became a cult classic not only for its story but also for its Grammy-winning soundtrack (widely credited for helping to break The Shins), and Braff describes 'Wish I Was Here' as a "continuation in tone." He also promises that the 'Wish I Was Here' soundtrack will be “just as important." Braff raised more than $1 million for the film in less than 24 hours. Get excited.
