On April 18, legendary artist/designer Storm Thorgerson passed away from complications with cancer. He was 69. A graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, Thorgerson was one-third of the iconic graphic design company Hipgnosis. Over the years, he worked with a range of artists including Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney, Phish, Black Sabbath, Muse and many more. His vision gave birth to such iconic album covers as Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' and Led Zeppelin's 'Houses of the Holy,' among so many others. His art, and the music that inspired so much of it, will live forever.
