Ray Manzarek, keyboardist and founding member of The Doors, passed away on May 20 in Rosenheim, Germany, due to complications from bile duct cancer. The band, led by its legendary frontman Jim Morrison, produced immortal classics such as "Light My Fire," "The End" and "Riders On The Storm" until Morrison tragically passed away in 1971. One of the most influential bands of the last half-century, The Doors were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. Ray may be gone, but his legacy and the music he made as one of rock's greatest keyboardists will live forever.
