Despite every subcultural trend, these chaotic times are longing for authentic, aggressive music to reflect the controversy and conflicts around us all.
On Valley, the latest output by Leipzig based metal quintet MYRA, that sound of rage is back. A return of heavy guitar music without any overproduced electronic bullshit.

Founded in 2005 the band has become an underground institution within the german metal scene. While many bands of those days have vanished, MYRA is constantly refining it’s unique blend of thrash-metal and hardcore. With their first records The Venomt It Drips and Godspeed the band quickly exceeds it’s newcomer status by ripping every stage from sweating European clubs to hot German Fetivals like With Full Force, Mair 1 or Sucks’n’Summer.

The bands upcoming 3rd full-length Valley is a masterpiece of raw energy and powerful songwriting, produced by danish metal legends Jacob Bredahl (Dead Rat Studios), Tue Madsen (Antfarm Studios) and longtime companion Andy Schmidt (Echolux Studios). Catchy and distinct song structures come along with the aggressiveness and atmosphere of bands like Hatesphere and The Haunted.

For the new record MYRA teamed up with digital label pioneers acuity.music to spread the sound of Valley without losing the freedom to make the music they love. From rock to punk to hardcore acuity is home to a great diversity of bands, an inspiring surrounding for releasing heavy music with a message.
