With his world-weary voice and gritty, narrative-driven songs, Kasey Anderson has drawn comparisons to Americana and alt-country artists like Steve Earle, Tom Waits, Nebraska-era Bruce Springsteen, and Ryan Adams. Bouncing between the folk scenes of Bellingham, WA, and Portland, OR, Anderson has become a regional favorite and has attracted some national press attention for his five albums, 2001's Harold St.
