Seeded and breaded in Richmond, Ca Mr. Ripley Fonzarelli Born Marlon V. Robinson Sr. is a Proud Father, Musician of 20 years now, Has been Producing, Rapping, Singing, and Engineering for over 10 years now.
His Talent was first Discovered early as a youth from his Mother who has always been supportive of his Dreams unlike all other family members. She encouraged him In Junior High to take the music class and from there he started Playing the trumpet. When He got to High school he was more interested in Playing the sax because the sound of it was Softer and sexier than the trumpet. His Music teacher then told him that he had the lips of a trumpet player and put him on the trumpet. From there he fell in love more and more with the trumpet, He then went on to advance himself in the arts when he Joined the EBCPA (East Bay Center For Performing Arts) where he then took private trumpet lesson with a well known Local Trumpeter (Tom Flugelstad) who was also a part of a Local Band by the name of "G.T.S" While getting private lessons Marlon decided to branch out within the Center and take more classes and get more involved in the arts which is when he joined the Jazz Ensemble playing lead trumpet, The Steel Drums Ensemble (BLOCO), Theater 11th street Taught by well known Actor (Reginald Green) where he excelled in acting and singing. To further his music knowledge he was taking music theory and gained a personal music relationship with his Jazz Ensemble teacher who was also a very well known Local Musician (Tony Archimedes). He taught him also How to play the piano, read, write and analyze music better. He would perform frequently with the Different Ensembles Locally and was in the newspaper and Local tv stations often. He also took Classical music, Joined the Latin Ensemble (Los Cenzontles) and learned how to play the Ukulele, and the African dance ensemble where he learned how to play the djembe. He Thrived to be the best at every Instrument he picked up soon creating his own sound and style. That year (93) he participated in all those different genres of music he was awarded the D.D. Morris award that was given to one student throughout the EBCPA which had students of more than 300. He continued to Take Trumpet lessons and Piano lessons and was offered to play at a Club with his trumpet teacher and his band (G.T.S) where they played Jazz and R&b oldies but goodies at Lou's in San Francisco Pier 47 at the young age of 17. Marlon then decided to continue his path of music by taking a Recording arts class and receiving a certificate of completion which sparked the interest in Recording music. Since then Marlon has Acquired his own Pre Production studio equipment and has worked and recorded with various local and Non local artist and musicians to spread his talent and music worldwide.
