MrEart

...was founded in 2007 in Amsterdam by musicians from Germany, Holland, Norway andPortugal. Since then, the band made a CD (facts in the case of the mysterious pop murders) with the independent label Neukland and played concerts in clubs and Festivals all over Europe.

Using acoustic instruments Mr Eart crosses traces of songwriting and improvisation with pop and experimental electronic music. With sensuality and warmth, the five musicians embody oblique nostalgia in the garb of second hand science fiction.

In 2011 and after some concerts with a new Berlin based line up, Mr Eart developed anew musical language which resulted in compositions and new arrangements. Today, with musicians from Spain, Germany, Poland andArgentina, Mr Eart remains as international and eclectic as before.

Currently working on a new recording including a version of DavidBowies´s surrealistic “Disco King”, the band is adding own compositions, pieces of argentinean folk and electric sounds.Experimental. Poetic. Analogue. Mr Eart melts analogue aesthetics with poetry, to arrive to an exquisite blend of experimental songs.
