Mostly Sunny travels a musical odyssey through passion and pain, producing sultry pop masterpieces with all the right hooks.
The journey began when Jen McElrath, fresh from her 7 years of success with Red Five, paired up with former Fluorescien drummer/producer Rocco Bidlovski. Together, they recorded Mostly Sunny's critically acclaimed "Debut," which included the catchy tune "More Than Anyone Else", which was later used as soundtrack for a popular Red Vines commercial.

The duo then traveled to Brazil and there produced the moody and powerful "Maybe Someday," with themes of love, loss and redemption woven into infectious lyrics and melodies. "Maybe Someday" represented the second stage of metamorphosis for Mostly Sunny's evolving sound.

In 2012, Jen returned to her native San Diego and partnered with Dan Wallis and Mike Fish. The trio stripped down and pared back their sound, laying bare the melodies and harmonies of life and love over simple acoustic backings. Mostly Sunny embodies the feeling and spirit of San Diego with their laid-back, fresh approach to music and life. As the harmonies soar and acoustic guitars ring out, they create a truly unique indie-pop vibe.
